What's Included
- Browning SA-22 Grade I .22 LR rifle
Made in Belgium, this SA-22 features bordered foliate scroll panels engraved on both sides of the receiver, a hallmark of the Grade I series. The receiver and barrel wear a high-polish blued finish that complements the walnut stock and forend, with factory checkering and a steel buttplate for a traditional look and feel.
It uses a blowback action with Browning’s bottom-ejection system, keeping empties out of the shooter’s line of sight. The rifle breaks down quickly via a knurled takedown collar at the barrel/receiver junction, making transport and maintenance straightforward without tools.
The tubular magazine is housed in the buttstock and loads through a right-side stock port, providing an 11+1 capacity in .22 LR. A 19.25-inch barrel balances the rifle well, and the 14.0-inch length of pull supports a comfortable, full-size fit.
Iron sights include a ramped front sight and a folding rear leaf sight for a clean, reliable sight picture. Markings include "BROWNING ARMS COMPANY ST LOUIS Mo., MADE IN BELGIUM, BROWNING PATENTS." This configuration, era, and factory engraving align with features prized by SA-22 enthusiasts.
