SIG Sauer P226 Enhanced Elite .40 S&W DA/SA, Full-Size, 4.4 in Barrel, Nitron Finish, 13+1, Two Magazines
This SIG Sauer P226 Enhanced Elite in .40 S&W is a full-size, DA/SA pistol built on an aluminum-alloy frame with a Nitron-finished slide and a 4.4 inch barrel. It comes with two 13-round steel magazines and its factory hard case with a matching E26R-40-ESE label dated December 26, 2017. The grip configuration has been changed from the factory one-piece E2 to two-piece black checkered panels.
Condition

The P226 Enhanced Elite format retains the classic SIG DA/SA control layout with the decocking lever ahead of the slide catch and the takedown lever forward. It is a full-size configuration chambered in .40 S&W with a 13+1 capacity.
The Nitron-finished slide is cut with front and rear cocking serrations and is marked "P226 Elite." The barrel hood is marked ".40 S&W," and the dovetailed 3-dot iron sights show small alphanumeric codes on the sides.
The aluminum-alloy frame wears a durable hard-coat anodized finish and incorporates an integral 1913-style accessory rail with four cross-slots for mounting lights or other compatible accessories. The frame is marked "SIG SAUER INC., NEWINGTON–NH–USA."
This example includes two steel magazines fitted with PLUS 2 base pads. The magazines have witness holes numbered 5/10/13.
The factory one-piece E2 grip was replaced with two-piece black checkered grip panels, giving the pistol a traditional P226 grip panel layout with a textured checkered surface.
