The P2000SK is HK's subcompact variant of the P2000 series, chambered here in .40 S&W and equipped with the LEM system. This hammer-fired DAO setup is pre-cocked and provides second-strike capability, paired with ambidextrous slide stop levers and HK's paddle-style ambidextrous magazine release for versatile handling.
Its 3.27 in barrel is cold-hammer-forged with polygonal rifling, designed for durability and consistent performance. The pistol uses a short-recoil, locked-breech, tilting-barrel system. The slide is steel with a corrosion-resistant black finish, and the frame is polymer to keep weight down while maintaining strength.
Sighting is straightforward and durable with a dovetailed rear and a Trijicon tritium front sight marked H3 14 for low-light visibility. An integral single-slot accessory rail on the dustcover accepts compatible compact lights or accessories.
