It is set up for optics with a drilled and tapped receiver and comes with a one-piece scope base and rings (not installed).
Built on a proven Mauser 98 foundation, this rifle combines classic controlled-round-feed reliability with modern accuracy-focused components. The 21-inch heavy, free-floated barrel has a recessed crown and no iron sights, and the action includes a jeweled bolt body and a turned-down bolt handle with a spherical ball-style knob. The internal box magazine with a hinged floorplate provides a stated 5-round capacity.
The laminated Boyds thumbhole stock adds a raised cheek area, beavertail forend, and a ventilated forend, with sling swivel studs and a black Boyds recoil pad. Length of pull is 13.5 inches, offering a solid fit and stable shooting platform.
