The PMR-30 pairs a hardened steel 4.3 in barrel with a single-action, internal-hammer, semiautomatic action. Its hybrid operating system is optimized for .22 WMR, supporting reliable function with the model’s 30+1 capacity. Magazines are shared with the Kel-Tec CMR-30 carbine for cross-compatibility.
Sighting is fast and high-contrast with a fiber-optic green front in an aluminum dovetail that is drift-adjustable for windage, matched to a fixed rear featuring dual orange/red fiber-optic dots. This setup provides a clear sight picture in varied lighting.
The frame is glass-reinforced polymer in gray with Kel-Tec’s square checkerboard grip texture, mated to a gray polymer slide cover with the narrow steel slide/barrel unit along the top finished in black, and an internal serialized aluminum receiver visible from the rear. Controls include an ambidextrous manual safety, a heel-type magazine release, and a curved trigger.
