This Model 2000 was produced circa 1991–1995 and reflects a purpose-built configuration for precise .22 LR work. The 22-inch heavy-profile barrel with Marlin's Micro-Groove rifling supports consistent projectile engagement and stability.
The stock is a durable, black textured composite with an adjustable buttplate to tailor length and shoulder fit. A wide beavertail forend provides a stable interface, while vented forend slots aid balance and handling. An aluminum accessory rail is integrated along the forend for mounting compatible accessories.
Mounting options are ample: an 11 mm dovetail mounting interface is provided, and the rear receiver bridge carries a sight-mounting block that is drilled and tapped. No sights are installed; only the front sight block is present, and the rifle is sold with a pair of 11 mm rings already fitted.
Controls are straightforward and competition-friendly, with a two-stage trigger and a manual safety. The rifle is a single-shot configuration with a 13.5-inch length of pull, offering a clean, deliberate manual feeding cycle.
