The Shadow 2 Urban Grey pairs a nitride-treated steel slide with a CZ Polycoat steel frame for a durable two-tone finish. It uses a slide-in-frame design with deep front and rear cocking serrations, complemented by an extended beavertail and a high undercut trigger guard. Aggressive frontstrap and backstrap checkering and a flared internal magazine well opening support confident control.
Sight alignment is fast and precise with a red fiber-optic front and a fully adjustable HAJO-style rear. Controls are competition-ready, including an enlarged, textured magazine release, ambidextrous manual thumb safeties, and a curved trigger with an overtravel stop screw. A skeletonized ring hammer completes the refined DA/SA fire control setup.
An integral accessory rail with one slot is machined into the dust cover. The 4.89 in barrel and an approximate unloaded weight of 46.5 oz deliver a solid, full-size feel. Catalog capacity is approximately 17+1, and this pistol includes one 17-round magazine fitted with an extended base pad. As noted, this is the standard non-optics-ready Shadow 2 configuration with no optics cut.
Markings include "CZ SHADOW 2" and "9x19" on the slide, along with Czech/C.I.P. proof marks and "MADE IN CZECH REPUBLIC," plus "CZ-USA, KANSAS CITY, KS" import stamps. A "20" date is present adjacent to the ejection port. The pistol shows matching serial numbers on the slide and frame and is widely used in IPSC/USPSA Production divisions.
