The Super X3 Composite uses Winchester's Active Valve gas system, a proven setup for reliable cycling in a gas-operated semi-automatic platform. Controls include right-side ejection with a right-side bolt release, a ribbed/serrated bolt handle for positive purchase, and a cross-bolt safety.
The 28-inch steel barrel features a ventilated rib topped with a green fiber-optic front bead. This vent-rib with bead arrangement provides a clear sight picture along the rib.
The alloy receiver and metal components wear a matte gray finish that complements the durable synthetic furniture. The stock and forend have a dark carbon-weave style texture for a consistent, non-gloss appearance.
Ergonomics are anchored by a 14-inch length of pull and the Inflex recoil pad. Two sling swivel studs are installed on the stock and forend, and this example includes a black web sling already fitted.
