The 22-inch barrel is carbon steel with a sporter profile, a recessed crown, and a matte blued/black finish. Savage’s barrel-nut system is present, supporting the brand’s well-known barrel alignment and headspacing approach. The bore condition is excellent with sharp rifling.
The AccuTrigger is user-adjustable and includes a central safety blade, offering a clean trigger pull tuned to the shooter’s preference. A tang safety with a red indicator provides an intuitive control location.
The hardwood stock features pressed/embossed checkering on the forend and grip, a rubber recoil pad, and an Indian-head grip-cap medallion. Sling swivel studs are installed for ease of carry or bipod attachment.
