The VP9 is a striker-fired, full-size 9mm with a 4.1 in barrel and a 17+1 capacity, combining a gray polymer frame with a black slide. It retains the VP9’s well-known ergonomics and arrives with interchangeable side panels to fine-tune the grip shape and texture to the shooter.
Ambidextrous paddle-style magazine release and ambidextrous slide stop levers support either-hand operation. An accessory rail with multiple slots is molded into the frame for mounting compatible lights or accessories.
The optics-ready slide includes front and rear serrations and ships with the cover plate installed. Sights are a 3-dot iron setup with a high-visibility orange front dot and a two-dot rear notch. A striker status indicator is located at the rear. The slide carries model and caliber markings.
German nitro proof marks, the DE country code, and the HKI Columbus, GA import mark confirm its German manufacture and U.S. import path. This example is accompanied by six 17-round magazines and a CHPWS HK-509T-ST optic mounting plate, expanding its readiness for a mounted optic if desired.
