The steel barrel is hammer-forged with polygonal rifling and a 1:9.84 in right-hand twist. It uses a locked-breech, tilting-barrel system paired with a dual captive recoil spring assembly.
This striker-fired design incorporates a trigger safety. The matte black slide has vertical rear serrations, and the black polymer frame provides durable, lightweight construction.
Upgraded metal night sights are installed, with the front marked "AU2" and the rear marked "AT" and "10H3" for easy identification. Added traction tape panels on the slide and the Hogue rubber grip sleeve with beavertail and finger grooves enhance purchase and control.
It is USA-manufactured and appropriately marked: the slide is marked "USA," the barrel "US," and the frame "MADE IN USA GLOCK, INC., SMYRNA, GA." Small proof/inspection symbols are present on the slide. The serial number markings match on the slide, barrel, and frame plate.
