This Springfield Armory 1911 DS Prodigy AOS is a modern double-stack 9mm built on a forged carbon-steel frame and slide with a polymer wraparound grip module. It features a 4.25-inch bushingless, match-grade stainless bull barrel with a two-piece full-length guide rod, an installed Agency Optic System (AOS) mounting plate with integral rear sight, and a green fiber-optic front sight. The pistol wears a uniform black Cerakote finish and includes 20- and 17-round steel magazines.

The forged carbon-steel slide and frame are finished in black Cerakote for a consistent, duty-grade exterior. The slide is marked "PRODIGY" and "DS," and the barrel hood is marked "S.A. 9MM," matching the factory 9mm chambering.
The AOS optics mounting plate, co-developed with Agency Arms, is installed and incorporates a black serrated rear sight. Paired with the green fiber-optic front sight, this setup provides a clear, practical sight picture.
Its 4.25-inch, bushingless match-grade stainless bull barrel is supported by a two-piece full-length guide rod, contributing to smooth cycling. The pistol uses a single-action, hammer-fired (SAO) system with a skeletonized rowel-style hammer and a skeletonized three-hole long trigger.
Ergonomics and controls include an ambidextrous thumb safety, a beavertail grip safety with memory pad, and a wraparound textured grip module. A Picatinny-style accessory rail on the dustcover is ready for a light or other compatible accessory.
The double-stack design offers generous capacity with the included 20- and 17-round steel magazines. Sights, controls, and capacity come together in the Prodigy AOS platform to deliver a feature-rich 9mm 1911.
