The rifle wears an 18-inch round blued steel barrel and a blued steel receiver. Sighting is handled by a hooded ramp front sight and an adjustable rear leaf sight with a stepped elevator, providing a clear and traditional sight picture.
Furniture includes a straight-grip walnut stock and a walnut fore-end with a steel nose cap. The stock is equipped with sling-swivel studs and a black Winchester-marked hard-rubber buttplate. Length of pull measures 13.5 inches.
Manufactured in the United States and marked "Made in New Haven, Conn., U.S.A.," this example aligns with the 1992–2002 AE era. The combination of materials, factory features, and markings reflects a well-executed, practical .44 Magnum lever gun from Winchester’s New Haven production period.
