This field-configuration Remington Model 1100 is a 12 gauge, gas-operated semi-automatic with a 28-inch ventilated-rib barrel and a fixed Modified choke. It is chambered for 2 3/4 inch shells and features factory scroll engraving on the polished blued steel receiver. Classic walnut furniture with cut checkering and fleur-de-lis panels completes the traditional Remington field look.

The 28-inch barrel is roll-marked "12 GA FOR 2 3/4 OR SHORTER SHELLS" and "MOD." and is fitted with a ventilated rib and a single front bead for a straightforward field sighting setup. A knurled magazine cap completes the classic 1100 field configuration.
The receiver is polished blued steel with factory scroll engraving and is roll-marked "Remington Model 1100." The barrel address reads "Remington Arms Co., Inc., Ilion, N.Y., Made in U.S.A."
The stock and forend are walnut. The stock has a pistol-grip profile with cut checkering and fleur-de-lis panels, a black grip cap with white diamond inlay, and a Remington hard plastic buttplate for a period-correct appearance.
This full-size Model 1100 is finished in blued steel and is configured for 2 3/4 inch shells, combining the well-known gas-operated action with traditional field features and factory engraving.
