The Model 30M uses an all-steel, slide-in-frame architecture and a 4.7 inch barrel for a durable, full-size service profile. Documented as a standard 15-round design, this pistol comes with two 15-round steel magazines for a 15+1 on-board capacity.
It is a DA/SA, hammer-fired pistol with a slide-mounted, ambidextrous safety. Additional built-in safety features include a firing pin block and a magazine disconnect; no loaded chamber indicator. A lanyard ring mounted at the rear of the frame near the hammer/tang (integrated at the hammer pin area) supports duty carry needs.
The sighting system consists of iron sights with a rear notch and a ramped blade front. The slide features longitudinal top serrations, and the pistol wears a uniform matte blued finish.
Grip panels are black checkered synthetic with STAR medallions. Originating from Spain and produced in the 1980s era, the Model 30M saw service use with Spanish military and police as well as Peruvian police.
