The M&P-15 platform delivers a proven direct-impingement, semi-automatic action in a state-compliant configuration. Built in the United States on 7075-T6 aluminum receivers, it offers a 10+1 capacity in 5.56 NATO while retaining core AR-15 ergonomics and handling.
The 16-inch 4140 steel barrel uses a 1:9 twist rate and is marked 5.56 NATO 1/9. A carbine-length gas system and A2 F-marked front sight base provide a familiar, reliable setup. The muzzle is non-threaded for compliance.
The flat-top upper features a T-marked Picatinny rail with S&W index marks for repeatable positioning. A low-profile flip-up rear sight is installed, and the rifle retains the forward assist, ejection-port dust cover, and delta ring. Two-piece carbine-length polymer handguards complete the classic carbine layout.
