This Smith & Wesson 686-6 Plus is a seven-shot L-frame .357 Magnum with a 4" full-underlug stainless barrel and an upgraded Dawson Precision fiber-optic front sight. It features a satin stainless finish, an adjustable rear sight, and black synthetic finger-groove factory rubber grips with a molded S&W logo. Marked 686-6 on the yoke cut, it combines classic L-frame strength with a sighting upgrade and comes with useful extras.

The 686-6 Plus configuration delivers a seven-shot fluted cylinder in the proven L-frame platform, offering .357 Magnum performance in a full-size stainless-steel revolver. The satin stainless finish and full-underlug 4" barrel provide a balanced, durable setup suited to steady shooting.
Sights are set up for clarity and adjustability: an adjustable rear sight pairs with an aftermarket Dawson Precision pinned ramp front sight featuring a green fiber-optic blade. This installation enhances front sight visibility while retaining the pinned front-sight system.
The revolver operates in double-action/single-action and includes Smith & Wesson's internal key lock, with the lock window positioned above the cylinder release. Controls and fitment are consistent with the -6 engineering change and Plus capacity.
Factory details include stainless-steel frame, cylinder, and barrel construction with a full underlug and fluted cylinder. It is marked "686-6" on the yoke cut and is identified by S&W mfg part number 164300. The installed grips are black synthetic factory rubber finger-groove panels with a molded S&W logo, and an additional checkered wood round-butt grip with metal S&W medallion is included.
