The Staccato HD P4.5 is a recent-release, full-size 9mm built on a steel, 2011-based platform and configured with a 4.5 in sight-block barrel and a shortened 4.0 in slide to cut reciprocating mass. It is optics-ready with Staccato's HOST direct-mount interface and retains fixed iron sights, including a yellow-dot front on the barrel-mounted block. This example includes four 18-round magazines and ships with the factory soft case, documentation, and test target from Florence, Texas.

The HD P4.5 pairs a DLC-coated, 4.5 in sight-block barrel with a 4.0 in slide that features forward and top serrations plus lightening windows. This setup places the fixed yellow-dot front sight on the stationary block, helping maintain the sight picture while the lighter slide cycles.
The slide is cut for optics and uses Staccato's HOST direct-mount interface with a cover plate installed. A fixed rear sight sits ahead of the optics cut, giving a clear co-witness-ready sight line with the iron sights in place.
Controls are ambidextrous with an extended beavertail. Safety systems include an ambidextrous manual thumb safety and a Series-80-type firing-pin block; the grip safety is deleted by design. The single-action, hammer-fired system uses a skeletonized hammer and a curved, windowed aluminum trigger shoe.
The steel frame integrates a five-slot 1913/Picatinny accessory rail. A textured polymer grip module with Staccato star logos and a flared magazine-well funnel supports quick handling. The buffered captive flat-wire recoil system is tuned to the 4.0 in slide. The pistol is stated at 18+1 capacity and uses Staccato 2011-pattern 9mm double-stack magazines.
