The Kobra Carry pairs a Commander-length 4.25-inch barrel with the Ed Brown Bobtail frame, creating a compact 1911 profile. Snakeskin texturing is applied to the front strap and mainspring housing, with matching rear-only Snakeskin slide serrations for a unified grip pattern. The stainless-steel frame and slide wear a uniform matte-black finish, and the frame is non-railed.
Sighting is straightforward and durable: a Trijicon night sight with orange ring up front, matched to a fixed plain black ledge rear that is dovetailed and secured with a set screw. The ejection port is lowered and flared.
The pistol uses a conventional 1911 bushing-barrel system with a GI-length recoil spring guide and a checkered plug. A lightly beveled magazine well aids reloads. Capacity is 7+1 with the included single-stack magazines.
Controls and fire-control components are premium Ed Brown selections: a left-side thumb safety, a beavertail grip safety, a skeletonized rowel hammer, and a long 3-hole aluminum trigger with overtravel screw. Red/black textured G10 grip panels with a relief cut complete the handling package.
