It is designed for approved smokeless-powder loads as well as black powder substitutes and is marked on the barrel "Savage Model 10ML-II Cal .50." Capacity is single-shot.
The stainless steel 24 in heavy-contour barrel pairs with a 1:24 twist for stabilizing common .50 caliber sabots and bullets. A stainless receiver and stainless finish provide a cohesive, low-maintenance exterior. Overall length is about 44 in.
Open sights include a ramped post front with an orange fiber-optic and a Williams adjustable rear with green fiber-optic inserts, offering a bright sight picture in varied light. An installed scope mount provides the option to add optics if desired.
