This Soviet Arms SA-V is a U.S.-made 9mm AK-pattern braced pistol built around a stamped-steel receiver and a 9.75-inch barrel. It uses CZ Scorpion-pattern magazines and features a last-round bolt hold open with a bolt-release control. A hinged, full-length Picatinny-railed top cover, OD green Magpul MOE furniture, and an adjustable brace complete this compact, feature-rich configuration.

The SA-V operates on a simple blowback, closed-bolt system and is chambered in 9mm Luger. It is fitted with a short two-port muzzle brake/compensator and a 9.75-inch barrel, delivering a compact package with a 35+1 capacity using compatible magazines.
The receiver and frame are stamped steel, and the platform uses an AK-to-AR rear adapter with a receiver extension to mount the adjustable brace. The brace is finished in OD green and includes a hook-and-loop strap for forearm support.
Furniture includes a Magpul MOE AKM polymer handguard and a Magpul MOE AK pistol grip, both in OD green. Sighting is handled by an AK front sight block with a protected post and a low-profile folding rear sight mounted to the top cover.
The hinged top cover features a full-length Picatinny rail with longitudinal ribs and serves as the mounting base for the rear sight. The system is designed around CZ Scorpion-pattern magazines and incorporates a last-round bolt hold open with a dedicated bolt-release control. Factory markings read "SOVIET ARMS WEST COLUMBIA, SC, MODEL: SA-V CAL: 9MM," and the bolt/carrier bears a triangle logo.
