Romanian-made by Cugir (ROMARM) and imported by Century Arms, this WASR-10 is a classic AKM-pattern rifle with hallmark features and dependable construction. It uses a stamped steel receiver, a 16.25-inch threaded barrel with a slant compensator, and fixed wood furniture finished in glossy amber/orange shellac. A left-side AK optics side rail, ribbed top cover, and 90-degree gas block round out a configuration that collectors and shooters recognize. Capacity is 30+1 with detachable box magazines, and this example includes a 30-round phenolic (bakelite) magazine.

Made in Romania by Cugir (ROMARM) and marked with ROMARM/CUGIR ROMANIA and C.A.I. GEORGIA, VT import stamps, this rifle reflects the well-known Romanian AK production lineage. The WASR-10 format is built on the AKM platform and is configured for detachable box magazines with a 30+1 capacity.
The stamped steel receiver on this example lacks the traditional AKM magwell dimples, a recognizable WASR characteristic. It includes a left-side AK optics side rail and a ribbed top cover. The overall finish is matte, consistent with the receiver and metal components.
The 16.25-inch steel barrel is threaded and fitted with a slant compensator. A 90-degree gas block and the long-stroke gas piston with rotating bolt action provide the familiar AK operating system. A cleaning rod is retained under the barrel.
Furniture includes fixed wood handguards and stock finished in glossy amber/orange shellac, paired with a black polymer pistol grip. The stock features a rear sling swivel and a steel buttplate, with a 13.0-inch length of pull. Sighting is via a hooded front post and an adjustable tangent rear sight.
This WASR-10 accepts standard AK-pattern detachable box magazines and ships with a 30-round phenolic (bakelite) magazine. The muzzle is threaded, and the rifle retains the classic AK sighting and handling profile while offering the convenience of a factory-installed left-side optics side rail.
