This Bulgarian-made Arsenal SAM7SF stands out for its hot-die hammer-forged, milled-steel receiver with the long lightening cut, a right-side-folding tubular steel stock that locks solidly in both positions, and a cold-hammer-forged, chrome-lined 16.25 inch barrel. It features the standard left-side Warsaw-Pact optic rail and includes an Arsenal SM-13 side-attaching scope mount (not installed). Factory markings, the Bulgarian factory code (10) stamp, and Arsenal Las Vegas, NV import marks are present.

The receiver is a forged and milled, hot-die hammer-forged unit with the classic long lightening cut. It is marked "Model: SAM7SF Cal. 7.62x39 Made in BULGARIA" and carries the Bulgarian factory "10" stamp, with Arsenal Inc., Las Vegas, NV import markings. This example was made in Bulgaria and imported by Arsenal.
The 16.25 inch barrel is cold-hammer-forged and chrome-lined. It uses front-sight-base threads in 24x1.5 mm RH and is fitted with an AK-74–type muzzle brake. Sighting equipment includes a protected front post and an AK tangent rear leaf graduated 1–8. The rifle uses a separate gas block and front sight base.
Operation is semi-automatic with a long-stroke gas piston. Controls include an ambidextrous safety with a left-side thumb lever. The right-side-folding tubular steel stock locks when folded and extended. Furniture consists of polymer handguards (the lower marked "US") and a black polymer pistol grip.
A standard left-side Warsaw-Pact optic rail is installed on the receiver. The package includes an Arsenal SM-13 side-attaching scope mount (not installed), four 30-round magazines including a Magpul PMAG 30 AK/AKM MOE and additional polymer waffle-pattern mags, plus a web sling and hard case.
