The 22TUC’s tip-up barrel allows the chamber to be accessed without racking the slide. A left-side barrel-release lever opens the upper assembly, streamlining loading, unloading, and chamber checks.
Its micro footprint measures approximately 5.0 in overall length, 4.35 in height, and 1.0 in width, with an unloaded weight of about 10 oz. Despite the compact size, it carries a 9+1 capacity in .22 LR.
The pistol runs a single-action only system with an internal hammer and a distinctive trigger guard. The slide wears a matte black finish, and the black polymer frame has textured polymer grips for consistent hold.
Sight regulation is straightforward: a fixed front sight with orange highlight and a fixed square-notch rear integral to the top strap. The model marking 22TUC appears on the left-front of the frame below the barrel and ahead of the trigger guard, with TAURUS, Bainbridge, GA, and Made in USA markings on the frame/slide.
A 2.5 in barrel anchors the package, and the included factory 9-round magazine features an extended polymer base pad that aids purchase while maintaining the pistol’s compact profile.
