This Ruger MAX-9 Pro is a micro-size 9mm pistol with a factory optics-ready slide and a cold hammer-forged 3.2 in alloy-steel barrel. Built on a glass-filled nylon frame with an aluminum chassis, it features a tritium/fiber-optic front sight, a drift-adjustable rear sight, and ships with two 10-round factory magazines. This Pro configuration has no external manual safety and will fire with the magazine removed.

The slide is factory cut for micro red dots using the J-Point/Shield RMSc footprint with M4×0.7 screws and dowel pins, giving the pistol a ready-to-mount interface for compact optics. The slide wears a black oxide finish and has front and rear cocking serrations for confident manipulation. The slide is marked “MAX-9.”
Sighting equipment includes a green tritium/fiber-optic (H3) front sight and a black drift-adjustable rear notch, offering a bright front reference in varied lighting. The barrel hood is marked “9MM LUGER.”
The micro-size frame uses a glass-filled nylon grip module over an aluminum chassis, combining light weight with rigidity. An aftermarket tan Hogue grip sleeve is installed for added purchase without altering the pistol’s compact profile.
The cold hammer-forged alloy-steel barrel is designed for durability and consistency, and the striker-fired, recoil-operated action incorporates a trigger safety with an integral safety blade and an internal striker blocker. This Pro model omits an external manual safety and will fire with the magazine removed, as specified.
