What's Included
- CZ Woodcock First Generation .410 bore over/under shotgun
This Woodcock is a first-generation sideplate model manufactured by Huglu in Turkey and brought in by CZ-USA. It bears the CZ–USA, Kansas City, KS rollmark, the HUGLU 410 ga. 3 in rollmark, and the 36–76 metric chamber/gauge stamp, confirming its origin and 3-inch chambering.
The receiver is color case-hardened and factory engraved with scroll and rosette motifs. Decorative sideplates frame the action, and the word “Woodcock” is engraved on the underside (belly) of the receiver ahead of the trigger guard for a clean, period-correct presentation.
The 28-inch barrels are blued and set up with a ventilated top rib and ventilated mid-rib for a steady sighting plane. A brass front bead provides a simple, durable aiming reference. Chambers are 3 inches (76 mm) to accommodate a range of .410 loads.
Controls and furniture are traditional and straightforward: double triggers, a top-tang safety, and a break-action over/under layout. The walnut stock has a pistol grip with checkering and a black buttplate, while the beavertail forend features wraparound checkering and an inletted latch release. Length of pull measures 14.0 inches.
Chambered in .410 with a 2-round capacity, this 2005 example maintains the classic configuration buyers look for in the early Woodcock series, combining factory engraving, quality walnut, and practical field features.
