The M4 uses a gas-operated system for reliable cycling with 12 gauge loads and is chambered for 3" shells. The 18.5" barrel is threaded for chokes, and the shotgun includes two additional choke tubes to tailor patterns as needed.
It carries a 7+1 capacity in an extended tubular magazine. A clamp with accessory rail segments adds mounting options, while the receiver-top Picatinny rail spans the ejection port for mounting compatible equipment.
Sighting is handled by a protected front post and a ghost-ring rear aperture. A cylindrical charging handle and a cross-bolt safety support straightforward operation and control.
