This FN Herstal SCAR 17S stands out as a Belgium-marked 7.62x51mm NATO rifle with a 16.25" cold hammer-forged, chrome-lined barrel and a reciprocating charging handle. It features the SCAR’s one-piece forged aluminum upper with a polymer lower, an adjustable gas regulator at the gas block, and a side-folding, telescoping stock with a wide length-of-pull range. This example is in excellent overall condition and includes six 20-round magazines.

The SCAR 17S pairs a one-piece forged aluminum upper receiver with a polymer lower and is marked with FN HERSTAL BELGIUM, FNH USA Fredericksburg VA, and the FN oval logo on the lower receiver. It uses the proprietary SCAR-17S/SCAR-H magazine pattern and has a 20+1 capacity with the included 20-round magazines.
The 16.25" barrel is cold hammer-forged and chrome-lined, threaded at the muzzle. Its semi-automatic, short-stroke gas piston system works in concert with an adjustable gas regulator at the gas block for reliable function across varying conditions.
This rifle features a reciprocating charging handle. The polymer SCAR stock folds to the side, telescopes for length, and offers an adjustable length of pull from approximately 11.75" to 14.25" for adaptable handling.
Mounting and sighting options are extensive with a full-length MIL-STD-1913 T-marked top rail and accessory rails at the 3, 6, and 9 o’clock positions. Ribbed rail covers are installed. Factory folding sights include a front sight on the gas block and a rear aperture sight on the receiver rail.
