Ruger-made Marlin production from Mayodan, North Carolina, identifies this rifle as part of the modern RM-prefix run. That provenance is valued for its updated manufacturing while preserving the Model 1895 pattern.
The 19" stainless barrel is cold hammer-forged and threaded 11/16"x24, with a 1:20" right-hand twist. A full-length magazine tube provides 6+1 capacity in .45-70 Gov't, and the stainless receiver and barrel deliver a cohesive, corrosion-resistant build.
Sighting equipment includes a receiver-top ghost-ring rear and a green fiber-optic front sight. A one-piece Picatinny rail spans the receiver and onto the barrel, offering a solid mount interface straight from the factory.
Handling features include a large-loop lever, a spiral-fluted bolt, and a right-side loading gate. Controls are familiar and secure with a cross-bolt safety and a serrated hammer spur.
The gray/black laminated hardwood stock and fore-end feature laser-engraved checkering for grip, a soft rubber recoil pad, and Marlin details such as the horse-and-rider logo at the grip and the red/white bullseye in the stock toe. Length of pull measures 13.0".
