The 28 inch barrel has a ventilated rib with a single front bead. Barrel markings read "12 GA FOR 2 3/4 OR SHORTER SHELLS," confirming the 2 3/4 inch chamber. The knurled magazine cap and bead sight arrangement round out a classic field configuration.
