What’s Included
- Original Winchester Model 94 Lone Star Commemorative factory cardboard picture box
This commemorative Model 94 displays factory-engraved, star-bordered receiver panels with a central Lone Star and the dates 1845–1970, a tang inscription reading "UNDER SIX FLAGS," and a gold-filled "LONE STAR COMMEMORATIVE" barrel legend. The barrel also carries the "WINCHESTER PROOF STEEL" rollmark. This edition uses the LS-prefix serial format associated with the 1970 production run.
The carbine is built around a 20-inch steel barrel with a half-octagon-to-round profile and a blued finish, paired with a gold/brass-tone receiver. It feeds from a full-length tubular magazine with a 6+1 capacity and uses a top-eject action. A left-side saddle ring adds classic carbine utility and period styling.
Sighting is handled by iron sights, including a ramped front blade and an adjustable semi-buckhorn rear. The straight-grip walnut stock and walnut carbine forend present smooth finishes with commemorative medallion inlays. Length of pull measures 13.25 inches.
Factory engraving, limited-edition markings, and U.S. manufacture define this Lone Star Commemorative. It captures the aesthetics and features associated with Winchester’s special-run Model 94s while retaining the handling traits that made the platform a mainstay.
