The P938 SAS features SIG Sauer’s Anti-Snag treatment, with dehorned edges on both slide and frame for a smooth profile. The slide uses rear cocking serrations only and wears a natural stainless finish, creating a clean two-tone pairing with the black anodized aluminum alloy frame.
Sights are dovetailed 3-dot tritium units, H3/MH3-marked, providing a clear, night-capable sight picture. The pistol operates in single-action-only with an external hammer and a crisp SA trigger, supported by a left-side magazine release.
Safety is comprehensive with an ambidextrous manual thumb safety and a firing pin block. Grip and control surfaces are well executed, including checkered wood grips with the SIG SAUER logo, a checkered front strap, and a serrated backstrap.
