What’s Included
- Chiappa Model 1892 Alaskan Takedown .357 Mag lever-action rifle
- Factory aperture rear sight and orange fiber-optic front sight
- Chiappa-branded barrel-top Picatinny rail (installed)
The Alaskan Takedown configuration allows the rifle to separate into two main assemblies, combining classic 1892 handling with modern convenience. The large-loop lever provides ample room for gloved use and smooth cycling. It retains traditional top ejection and a right-side loading gate, with a 7+1 capacity in .357 Magnum.
The 16-inch octagonal barrel gives the gun a compact profile while preserving the time-honored look of the 1892 pattern. Sighting is fast and straightforward thanks to the aperture rear paired with an orange fiber-optic front blade.
The rifle wears a matte chrome-type metal finish designed for weather resistance and easy maintenance. Black furniture features wood cores with a soft-touch overmold and a recoil pad, with a 14.0-inch length of pull that suits a wide range of shooters.
A Chiappa-branded barrel-top Picatinny rail is fitted for mounting accessories as desired. Markings include CIP nitro proof stamps and the Taylor's & Co. import mark, along with the Alaskan bear-logo on the receiver. This example is made in Italy and is a faithful reproduction of the 1892 pattern with practical, modern updates.
