Feeding is via an internal box magazine with a hinged floorplate and 5-round capacity. The original M77 mechanical design combines a push-feed bolt with an external claw extractor and a plunger ejector. A tang-mounted safety provides straightforward control.
The walnut sporter stock has cut checkering for grip, a black grip cap with Ruger medallion, and a red Ruger recoil pad with a black spacer. Sling swivel studs are fitted. The steel receiver and barrel wear a blued finish.
