The DPMS Panther Arms LR-308 Sportical is an AR-10–pattern .308 Win rifle built around a 16 inch 4140 chrome-moly, button-rifled, threaded barrel with an A2-pattern flash suppressor. This Sportical configuration uses a Lo-Pro slick-side upper that deletes the forward assist, brass deflector, and dust cover, and features a flat-top Picatinny receiver rail with a railed low gas block. It ships with two 20-round SR-25/DPMS-pattern metal magazines and the original DPMS factory hard case and manual.

This LR-308 Sportical runs a semi-automatic, direct-impingement action and is built on hard-coat anodized aluminum receivers. The lower is marked MOD LR-308 and CAL .308, with SR-25/DPMS-pattern magazine compatibility and a stated 20+1 capacity. Approximate unloaded weight is 8.3 lb.
The 16 inch barrel is made from 4140 chrome-moly steel and is button-rifled with a 1:10 RH twist. It is threaded and fitted with an A2-pattern flash suppressor.
Furniture includes a 6-position collapsible stock and an overmolded finger-groove pistol grip. Carbine-length, two-piece ribbed polymer handguards round out the front end.
The upper is the DPMS Lo-Pro slick-side design without a forward assist, brass deflector, or dust cover. A flat-top Picatinny receiver rail and railed low gas block provide mounting surfaces. The rifle is configured without sights. Country of origin is the USA, and the model code on the case label is RFLR-WCP.
