Built around Browning’s inertia-operated Kinematic Drive, this A5 delivers the classic humpback sighting plane in a modern, lightweight package. The barrel is marked "Designed at Browning Belgium Patent Pending," and the gun uses a tube magazine with a 4+1 capacity. A cross-bolt safety provides straightforward operation.
The 28" steel barrel features a vent rib and the Invector-DS choke system. A Browning Invector-DS extended Skeet choke is installed, and an additional Invector-DS Improved Cylinder tube is included. Invector-DS chokes use a brass sealing band at the rear (breech) end to seal the choke-to-barrel threads, preventing fouling and gas blow-by in the threads.
Handling features include a gloss-finished, checkered walnut stock with a pistol grip and recoil pad, plus a matching walnut forearm. The sighting setup combines a red fiber-optic front bead with a white mid-bead for quick alignment. Length of pull measures 15.0 inches, and the gun is chambered for both 2 3/4" and 3" shells.
