- Installed modified choke tube
The BPS is noted as the only production 10-gauge pump shotgun, and this Field model carries that distinction with a bottom-eject/bottom-load layout and dual action bars for smooth cycling. Its all-steel receiver and blued finish deliver the solid build quality associated with the series.
The 30 in steel barrel has a vent rib and a single bead front sight for clean sight alignment. It is threaded for Browning’s Standard Invector choke system for 10 gauge and is currently fitted with a modified choke. The 3.5 in chamber supports heavy 10-gauge loads.
Stocked in gloss walnut, the gun includes a checkered pistol-grip stock, matching walnut forend, recoil pad, and a rear sling swivel stud. The length of pull measures 14.0 in, and controls include a tang safety that is easy to access.
Manufactured in 1988 by Miroku in Japan, this BPS Field has a 2+1 capacity. Its bottom-eject design keeps ejection away from the shooter and contributes to the clean-sided receiver profile of the platform.
