The Stakeout series pairs traditional 1911 controls with a full-size, 5-inch Government setup. This example is factory-labeled 9mm Luger and includes a second barrel in .38 Super, giving the owner two compatible calibers with the same frame, slide, and controls.
Construction is centered on forged 4140 steel for both the slide and frame, finished in electroless nickel for a uniform, bright appearance. It uses a GI-pattern barrel bushing and recoil spring plug, a solid non-skeletonized trigger, and a commander/rowel-style hammer.
Ergonomics and handling cues include a left-side thumb safety, a grip safety, an arched vertically serrated mainspring housing, and a smooth front strap. The magazine well remains standard and non-flared.
Sighting is straightforward with small fixed GI-style sights: a fixed GI-style front sight and a low rear notch in a dovetail. Double-diamond checkered walnut panels provide a classic grip texture. Markings include ZIG M1 TURKIYE on the slide and the TISAS KNOXVILLE TN importer stamp. Factory literature notes a titanium firing pin. Made in Turkey, this is a recent release from Tisas.
