It is marked on the barrel "MOD. 1873 CAL. .45 COLT," with patent-date legends on the frame and the importer marking "STOEGER – ACCOKEEK, MD – A. UBERTI/ITALY." Serial number placement is on the upper backstrap directly behind the hammer.
