What’s Included
- 1x factory Smith & Wesson Bodyguard 380 6-round steel magazine with finger-rest baseplate
- Kydex inside-the-waistband holster
The Bodyguard 380 uses a short-recoil locked-breech action with a double-action-only internal hammer and true second-strike capability, giving it a consistent trigger pull. Its micro size and 2.75 in barrel make it a discreet .380 ACP carry option without sacrificing core controls.
The factory-integrated Insight laser is frame-mounted with ambidextrous activation buttons, complemented by fixed dovetailed iron sights featuring a white-dot front post and low-profile rear. A manual safety and slide stop are present, and a loaded-chamber viewport provides a quick visual status check.
The polymer frame and steel slide and barrel wear a matte black finish. Molded textured grips with the S&W medallion offer a secure hold. Capacity is 6+1, and the included factory 6-round magazine has a finger-rest baseplate and witness holes numbered 2–6.
This first-generation configuration is marked on the frame as "Capable of firing with magazine removed." It is made in the USA and retains the core Bodyguard 380 features that define this early model with the factory Insight laser module.
