The FNX-45 Tactical is a full-size .45 ACP built for versatility, featuring a 5.3-inch threaded, cold hammer-forged stainless barrel and suppressor-height 3-dot night sights. This Flat Dark Earth configuration includes an optics-cut slide and fully ambidextrous controls. It comes with four 15-round magazines and was manufactured in Columbia, South Carolina, USA. Note: The slide’s optics-cut cover plate is included.

The FNX-45 Tactical pairs a 5.3-inch extended, threaded stainless-steel barrel with a 0.578x28 thread pattern and no thread protector. The barrel is cold hammer-forged for durability and accuracy retention and incorporates a witness-hole loaded-chamber indicator on the barrel hood.
The slide is finished in Flat Dark Earth and features an optics cut (cover plate included), front and rear cocking serrations, and an external extractor. Suppressor-height fixed 3-dot night sights provide a clear sight picture over mounted muzzle devices.
The polymer frame, also in Flat Dark Earth, includes interchangeable backstraps and an accessory rail for lights or lasers. Fully ambidextrous controls include the magazine release and a safety/decocker for adaptable handling.
This DA/SA, short-recoil, hammer-fired design uses an external skeletonized hammer and a loaded-chamber indicator. Capacity is 15+1 with the included option to use 10-round magazines. Overall length is 8.6 inches, with an unloaded weight of 33.3 ounces.
