This IMI UZI Carbine Model B is a pre-ban Action Arms (Philadelphia) import manufactured in 1989, chambered in 9mm Luger with a 16-inch barrel. It retains hallmark Model B features including closed-bolt, simple blowback operation, a top-mounted charging knob, and a folding skeleton steel stock. It comes with its IMI factory hard case, original Model B manual, khaki web sling, a short non-firing UZI display barrel, and a 25-round magazine, making it a well-documented example with desirable accessories.
Built in Israel by IMI and imported by Action Arms prior to the 1989 import restrictions, this carbine carries the correct IMI - ISRAEL rollmark and ACTION ARMS, LTD Phila. Pa. import stamp. The stamped-steel receiver features the classic longitudinal ribs, and the rear sight base shows the L↔R windage directions. The selector is marked F/S, and the factory warning is present on the top cover.
Controls and safety features include the top-mounted charging knob, a manual safety, and a grip safety integral to the backstrap. The ribbed polymer forearm offers a secure grasp, and the barrel is retained by the standard barrel nut. Sighting is via a protected front post and a windage-adjustable rear aperture.
