This discontinued Kimber Solo CDP (LG) Custom Shop model is a micro-compact 9mm built for discreet carry with premium features. It pairs a matte stainless slide over a black KimPro II aluminum frame, Custom Shop Carry Melt de-horning, low-profile tritium night sights, and factory Crimson Trace Lasergrips with instinctive activation. Ambidextrous controls and a 2.7 in stainless barrel round out a compact package that was produced circa 2011–2016.

The Solo CDP (LG) is a Custom Shop variant featuring Kimber’s Carry Melt de-horned edges and a two-tone finish: a matte stainless slide over a black KimPro II frame. The result is a smooth, snag-resistant profile designed for discreet carry and clean presentation.
Factory Crimson Trace Lasergrips with instinctive activation are integrated into checkered, rosewood-colored panels, providing an on-demand aiming aid without altering the pistol’s compact form. Low-profile tritium night sights are dovetailed into the slide, with a white-dot front for clear sight indexing.
This micro-size 9mm runs a 2.7 in stainless steel barrel with a 1:10 LH twist and a striker-fired, single-action, short-recoil system. It offers a 6+1 capacity in a slim, single-stack format. Ambidextrous controls include both the magazine release and manual thumb safety.
The frame is machined from 7075-T7 aluminum alloy for strength and light weight, keeping carry weight to about 17 oz. Overall length is approximately 5.5 in, height about 3.9 in, and width roughly 1.2 in. Made in the USA and produced circa 2011–2016, this CDP (LG) model is no longer in current production.
