Chambered in .22 LR with a compact form factor, the G44 pairs a 4.02" .22 LR barrel with a hybrid steel-polymer slide to deliver Glock ergonomics in a rimfire platform. This model was introduced in 2019 as Glock's first production rimfire pistol, offering a familiar manual of arms for training and recreational use.
The frame uses Gen5-style texturing with no finger grooves for consistent purchase. Controls are modernized with ambidextrous slide stop levers and a reversible magazine release, and the pistol retains Glock's Safe Action system. A Glock Universal accessory rail supports compatible lights and accessories.
Sights are straightforward and practical: a white dot polymer front and an adjustable polymer U-notch rear with windage and elevation adjustment. The slide features front and rear serrations for confident manipulation, and the USA-marked slide and MADE IN USA frame are notable production details.
Capacity is 10+1. The two included OEM magazines feature load-assist tabs and numbered witness marks for easy filling and quick round-count checks. A Glock factory hard case is provided; it is a Glock case but not the original one issued with this specific pistol.
