The Q The Fix in 8.6 Blackout pairs a 16-inch threaded barrel with Q's lightweight, chassis-less architecture and an adjustable, side-folding aluminum stock. It features a continuous Picatinny rail, a free-floated aluminum handguard, and factory markings including THE FIX with the Q logo and "LIVE FREE OR DIE" with the New Hampshire outline. Built in the USA, this example comes with both 10- and 20-round magazines.

This rifle uses a right-side ejection bolt with a short, swept handle and a 45-degree short-throw lift for fast cycling. A two-position safety lever provides familiar, positive control. The listed length of pull is 13.5 inches, and the aluminum stock includes an adjustable cheekpiece and buttpad to fine-tune fit.
The platform integrates a continuous MIL-STD-1913 Picatinny rail that runs across the receiver and handguard, supporting straightforward mounting of sights and accessories. The free-floated aluminum handguard features elongated slots at the 3, 6, and 9 o'clock positions for attachment and weight reduction.
Q's chassis-less architecture brings the folding, skeletonized aluminum stock and free-float handguard into a single, streamlined system. The 16-inch barrel is threaded at the muzzle, and The Fix platform supports a tool-assisted barrel-change system per factory literature.
Detachable SR-25/AR-10 pattern magazines are compatible with this 8.6 Blackout configuration. Included are one 10-round and one 20-round Magpul PMAG LR/SR Gen M3, both marked 7.62x51 and suitable for 8.6 BLK. The stated capacity is 20+1.
