Controls and safeties include a left-side manual thumb safety, an upswept/beavertail grip safety, and a Series 80 firing pin safety. It uses a solid, smooth trigger and a commander-style hammer consistent with the Series 80 configuration.
Sight regulation is via fixed 3-dot units, with both front and rear sights dovetailed into the slide. The slide carries vertical rear cocking serrations with no front serrations. Factory slide legends include "DELTA ELITE/Colt 10mm Auto" and "Colt Government Model 10mm/Semi-Auto," and the barrel hood is marked "CAL. 10MM AUTO."
