The A300 Ultima uses a gas-operated, self-cleaning piston with an elevated locking block for smooth cycling with 3 inch 12 gauge loads. The receiver is aluminum alloy with a matte gray anodized finish, and it is marked MADE IN THE USA, GALLATIN TN.
Controls are sized for easy operation, including an oversized charging handle plus enlarged bolt handle and bolt-release. A cross-bolt safety is fitted and is reversible to accommodate different shooter preferences. The magazine cap includes an integral front sling swivel stud.
The 28 inch steel barrel wears a ventilated rib and a red fiber-optic front bead for fast sight acquisition. It is MobilChoke compatible and ships with flush-fit choke tubes in Full, Modified, and Improved Cylinder, with IC installed.
The black synthetic stock and fore-end feature molded texturing for grip, an adjustable shim system for fit, and Beretta’s Kick-Off recoil-reduction system with a rubber recoil pad. Length of pull is 14.0 inches. Capacity is 2+1 with the factory reducer plug installed.
