Built in the USA, the Cross uses a one-piece aluminum receiver/chassis with a black anodized finish for strength and consistency. The stock is folding and skeletonized, with an adjustable cheekpiece, adjustable buttpad, and adjustable length of pull to achieve a precise fit. A polymer AR-type pistol grip with the SIG SAUER logo completes the control interface.
The 18-inch stainless steel barrel is threaded 5/8x24 and marked 6.5 CREEDMOOR 1/8. A free-float aluminum handguard provides M-LOK slots at 3, 6, and 9 o’clock, with a short rail segment at 12 o’clock. An unbranded multi-port muzzle brake is already installed on the muzzle.
The action features a three-lug bolt with a 60-degree lift for quick cycling. The two-stage, match, user-adjustable trigger and manual safety support precise shot control. Sig’s factory SUB-MOA (3-shot/100 yd) accuracy claim is noted.
The receiver is roll marked CROSS, MULTI CAL., and SIG SAUER INC., NEWINGTON, NH USA, and carries a numbered Picatinny rail for optics. The rifle accepts AICS-pattern detachable magazines; one 5-round Magpul PMAG AICS-pattern polymer magazine marked 7.62x51 is included. Capacity is 5+1.
