The MPX platform here is configured as a 9mm short-stroke piston-operated carbine with a 16-inch threaded barrel and a three-port brake/compensator. The aluminum receiver wears a matte black finish and is marked "SIG SAUER INC, NEWINGTON, NH USA," with the lower marked "SIG MPX MULTI-CAL." with the SIG logo. Controls are ambidextrous, including the safety and magazine release, with an AR-style manual of arms.
A Lancer Systems carbon-fiber free-float M-LOK handguard keeps weight down while providing M-LOK at 3, 6, and 9 o'clock and short 1913 rail sections at 12 o'clock. A BCM M-LOK QD sling mount is installed at the 6 o'clock position for sling attachment. The setup yields ample mounting real estate without adding unnecessary bulk.
Control upgrades include a Radian Raptor-LT ambidextrous charging handle bearing the TTI logo and a Taran Tactical Innovations flared magazine well. The stock is adjustable and telescoping, paired with a Kick-Eez recoil pad, and the length of pull measures 13.0 inches. The rifle retains the SIG polymer pistol grip.
