Made in Germany by Umarex and imported by Heckler & Koch, Inc. (Columbus, GA), this rifle carries HK licensing and correct model markings. Receiver and barrel sleeve areas bear factory/import marks and proofs, including "MADE IN GERMANY BY UMAREX," the Columbus GA import mark, CIP N proof, and UX DE25, along with "HK MP5" and "CAL. 22 L.R. HV" caliber designation.
The rifle uses a reliable blowback action and features a 16 in barrel housed within an SD-style sleeve and over-barrel shroud. The SD-style ribbed polymer fore-end pairs with a hooded front sight and adjustable diopter rear sight for precise sighting. Controls include a manual safety with a 2-position selector and a left-side forward charging handle.
Furniture consists of a fixed A2-type polymer stock with a 12.5 in length of pull, complemented by the SD-style polymer fore-end. An MP5 A3-style collapsible stock is included in the sale but not installed, offering an alternate factory-style configuration if the buyer chooses.
